Selections from my personal journal during college.
Spring Break continues!!!
I worked today at my parent’s business – Victoria Stained Glass. I worked on the computer for awhile and helped my brother Tom pour a concrete footing for a bridge Pops put across the pond in the front yard. I started my plyometric training today in an effort to increase my vertical jump. I want to be able to dunk a basketball, but will settle for hanging on the rim. I also rode 30 miles on the stationary bike in an effort to burn fat (Gotta get in shape to impress Tonya – yes, I have been thinking about her.) I think I’ll go back Friday morning so I can spend the weekend with her before school starts back up. I really miss her.
Hopefully I can find someone to pick me up at the bus station when I get there. Well, thats about it – no earthshattering news, just let it be stated for the record – I miss Tonya
Interesting entry… I was pretty hung up on Tonya it appears. The funny thing about this post is that I actually thought I was going to be able to slam dunk a basketball. Oh, and the fact that I would settle for hanging on the rim… priceless. I actually did have a very good vertical leap, but at 5’10” a slam dunk was being seriously optimistic. I was able to touch the rim, but never quite able to grab ahold of the thing.
