As usual Consadine did a tremendous job – the film however, was a bit on the depressing side. I know there’s no easy or upbeat way to tell this story, but he does such a good job of making you feel his pain, that you just find yourself wishing something will turn out right for him.
Don’t get me wrong – there are some pretty funny moments. The back and forth between a trio of small time thugs (Jason Flemyng, Oscar Isaac, and some dude I can’t remember) is funny as hell. The funniest was the one whose name I can’t find – haha.
In any event, if you get a chance, it is worth the watch.
