I saw this the other morning and had to laugh.  I have to hand it to 7-Eleven for a stroke of marketing genuis in their “7-Election” campaign.

I am not sure that it will increase a lot of coffee sales, but who knows?  Maybe people will be moved to drive an extra block to buy their McCain or Obama cup at 7-Eleven other than the the plain cup at another convenience store.  And in these times of financial uncertainty – they might even forego their $4.00 Starbucks latte just to feel like they are “doing something for the country.”

Either way, I dig the marketing.  If I were a coffee drinker at all, I might be moved to pick up a cup of Joe, John, or Barack.
