Snow again?

It looks like it is going to drop down to around 27 degrees the next night or two – that combined with precipitation means we could actually get some snow. That would be cool! Don’t worry – if that happens, there will be video and photos.

Gorgeous Texas weekend!

I have to say that it has been an amazing weekend in terms of weather – beautiful crisp, cool mornings, followed by spectacularly sunny afternoon skies and not an ounce of humidity to be found! Dawn and I went for a walk Saturday morning to kick things off and it was a great way to [...]

Cycle Cast – home tour – inspiration 042109

At the conclusion of this ride, there are only 875 miles remaining until I crack 20,000 total ridden.

IIHS spits out latest propaganda regarding small cars

“Henry Ford said, ‘If horses could vote there never would have been cars’ and in our system, coal and oil can really vote.” – Thomas Friedman, author “Hot, Flat, and Crowded”

Man, that felt good!

As you have seen in the previous post, I just returned from a bike ride. I ended up doing a short little 15-mile jaunt through some of countryside surrounding San Marcos and it was great. Multimedia snafus aside, it was great to be out there spinning down the road. I went against the wind on [...]

I couldn’t agree more

I spotted something this morning that I just had to stop and snap.  First, I apologize if the visual strikes you as distasteful.   Apparently, some inconsiderate dog owner walked their massive pooch by someone’s front door at the apartment complex – when the resident saw it, he/she took the time to post a little [...]
