My friend and co-host of Lone Star Gridiron, Mike Wright came by this morning and brought with him some brownies his wife Julie created. When I say created… I mean these things are works of art. WOW! The first thing that caught my attention was how perfect they ‘looked.’ Yes, they looked perfect – she did some sort of swirl on the top (the fudge covering of the brownie) that looks like something you would find at a 5-star restaurant.
Not to be overshadowed by the appearance was the taste… Jiminy Christmas! These things are soooooo frickin’ good. I had two of them and forced myself to walk away and ride my bike. After doing ten miles, I figured I earned another. I just finished it and had to blog. I think I will use them as incentive to exercise… look for my riding mileage to skyrocket as they are worth it!
Julie, all I can say is that you need to quit everything else you are doing and become a chef… I have heard about the brilliant dishes you have created for Mike, but even if you just open a pastry shop – you will make a lot of people very happy! Thanks again and congrats on the bun in the oven too!
Hey there, I’m moving to Houston in August to work for the ‘Stros and am an avid bloggger. I wanted to know how I can get involved with http://houston.metblogs.com.
