Okay, I asked this in a previous podcast and got a few responses, but I thought I would throw it out to the blog readers…
What is the first album/CD/LP/45 you owned?
The first piece of music that you could hold in your hands and call your own. Drop me a comment here or shoot an email to cdoelle AT gmail.com. I plan to put together a podcast in the future that compiles these musical firsts. Help me out and maybe your song will be one of the ones played in that podcast.
HA! The first one I remember was Donny Osmond… not sure of the title though. Also round the same time had Jackson Five, and Cheech and Chong 😀
Oh… guess that shoulda been “The Osmonds” or “Osmond Brothers” or Whatever they were called *LOL*
It was something by Barry Manilow. Hey, it was the 70’s.
It was “Wake up a little Susy” by the Everly Brothers on 45. For the life of me, I can’t remember what was on the b-side of the record.

You know Chris, I’ve been thinking (don’t say it) and I think it was not “Wake up a little Susy” but “Cathys Clown” by the Everly Brothers
