I am sitting at the back of the jam-packed session titled “Create a Campaign in an Hour.” The premise of the meeting is to show how to create an online marketing campaign. The sample company Banana Guard was chosen because it was offbeat, hard to market, and frankly because it was ripe (pun intended) for a whole slew of sophomoric jokes.

If this is the “cutting edge” of interactivity, then we are in pretty lame shape. I left after about 30 minutes at which time the only thing that had been accomplished was a “bunch” of “my big banana” jokes.
