If you’re Nardo, you stalk a squirrel.
Within seconds of seeing the furry little dude at the top of my tree eating the new leaf buds, Nardo bounded up the fence and onto the nearby branches. The squirrel didn’t seem to notice as he inched closer in the classic stalking position. Nardo closed within pouncing distance and still the squirrel payed him little mind.
Then, just as he was coiled up and ready to pounce, with the flick of his tail the squirrel launched himself into the air. He landed across the fence, in the neighbor’s yard and scurried up the next tree. Unplussed, Nardo proceeded to hang out in the tree awhile sniffing and exploring.
A good time was had by all.
