I got a call yesterday from Ron asking if I wanted to go to the Spurs – Suns playoff game… the price was right (free) so of course, I said yes. Ron is friends with one of the Spurs dancers who was a dancer for the Texas Copperheads arena team and she totally gave us the hookup.
Now, I know from the looks of these photos, there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of basketball going on – trust me though, it was a good game.
An interesting side note is that this was the fourth time I have seen Shaquille O’Neal play live – once for the Orlando Magic, twice for the Los Angeles Lakers, and now, once for the Phoenix Suns. This is the first game I have seen him lose.
It’s a hard life.
