We all remember the Monopoly card which awarded us with an unexpected $200. It was a wonderful turn of events in the imaginary world of green houses and red hotels, but these things don’t happen in real life. Well, maybe not 200 smackers – but errors sometimes do turn out good.
I discovered on this morning when updating my cycling statistics. It appears that a couple years back when totally up the html columns on my cycling page, I left roughly 100 miles off my career totals. I finally got smart and put the document into a Google doc so I could update from anywhere and actually let the spreadsheet do the math instead of me. Lo and behold, I found the error, and now I am that much closer to my goal of cracking 20,000 total miles by the end of 2009. See, sometimes errors do come out okay.
