Okay, so yesterday I posted the Top Songs for 2012 – According to Chris and will follow-up now with the artists themselves.
For the past two years, P!nk has been my top artist and has been my top artist All-Time since I started tracking back in 2005. This year however, there was a new #1
- Train – 667 plays
- Zac Brown Band – 535 plays
- P!nk – 467 plays
- Roger Miller – 353 plays
- Billy Joel – 282 plays
- Bruno Mars – 217 plays
- Darius Rucker – 183 plays
- Johnny Cash – 168 plays
- Kenny Chesney – 158 plays
- Rod Stewart – 137 plays
- George Strait – 128 plays
- Dierks Bentley – 127 plays
- Turnpike Troubadours – 123 plays
- Maroon 5 – 106 plays
- Billy Currington – 90 plays
- Toby Keith – 83 plays
- Keith Urban – 77 plays
- Norwegian Recycling – 76 plays
- Trace Adkins – 73 plays
- Uncle Kracker – 70 plays
Interesting facts from 2012 totals. Train wasn’t even the top 20 last year but after discovering their entire discography, I have become a big fan and had to get all their albums. P!nk dropped from the top spot down to #3 BUT her total plays are more than 100 greater than 2011. In fact, the top spot (Train) was nearly double the top spot from last year. The biggest drop of the year was Keith Urban who fell from #4 down to #17.
