Okay, so Coca-Cola Life will debut in the United States in 2014 after a successful launch in Argentina. “Life,” while implying traditional coke is “death,” is created using a combination of sugar and stevia for sweetening.
This move is in response to dramatic sales drops in zero- and low-calorie drinks as well as a smaller dip in the full calorie soda market.
So is a “mixture of sugar and stevia” marketing hype or a response to demand? I for one and not convinced, but hey, I’m a skeptic.
This video is making the rounds online and it seems the ad campaign will be solid. Coca-Coca Death, Coca-Cola Life… whatever the drink… they DO know how to make good commercials.
