enders game, asa butterfield,Dawn called me out on my review of Ender’s Game.

“You hated it, you said!” she reminded me after reading the review.  So what gives?

Rather than try to justify my wonky rating, I will just throw myself on the mercy of the court.  I guess what I really rated was the book.  Dawn was right to remind me that 1) I fell asleep through the first fifteen minutes of the movie and 2) I mentioned how unimpressed I was as we left the theater.

If I would have written my review right then, I likely would have given is a much lower rating… but I enjoyed the book and in waiting to write the review I guess I got the two a bit intertwined.

I officially rescind my rating and replace it with the following:

Okay, I know that only knocked it down a couple stars but the special effects make it watchable and I still stand by the fact that did a great job
