2014 Book Goal: 52 (mostly non-fiction)
2014 Books Read: 2 (100% non-fiction)
I have been a fan of Seth Godin for years and his tenth book, The Dip: A Little Book That Teaches You When to Quit may be a one of his shortest, but it is an interesting twist on a great subject – quitting.
We are told from youth that “quitting is bad” and “winners never quit” etc. Seth’s take on this subject is that we’ve been taught the wrong thing. He feels that winners are actually the ones that quit. Not folks that quit habitually or quit when the going gets tough. A winner quits when it doesn’t make sense to continue effort toward a goal that is not worthy.
I mentioned this is a short book and a quick read, but it has a ton of useful information jam-packed inside.
