I found The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead by Max Brooks and thought I would check it out. I mentioned it to Logan and he said he had checked it out from the school library but never finished it. We decided to give the audiobook a listen. Dallin even joined in and we starting making it a part of our regular morning listening.
The book is a tongue-in-cheek look at what to do when a zombie outbreak occurs. The book reads like a brass tacks manual and goes through anything and everything you need to know in the case of undead walking the earth. The fact that it is written as a factual guide makes it a lot of fun.
If you can get past the whole zombie eating your flesh setting for the book, it ends up being a collection of really good survivalist info. Even if ghouls don’t attack, this book can be useful in anything from a societal collapse to a pandemic outbreak. It is a good read and great fun for us guys to listen to together.
