The Great Pyramids, Machupicchu, the Nazca lines and Easter Island… Just a few of the creations by ancient civilizations that live on today.
What will we leave behind? The houses we build will crumble. The dams will give out. Even the massive skyscrapers will fall. What about our road systems?
Chances are large swaths of the paved ribbons too will be overgrown and fall to disrepair. (Just look how often they need fixing regularly now.)
What physical legacy will we leave? I’m not sure. Â Will the floating island of garbage survive?
How about the plastic? Will it still be here in 1,000 years? I don’t know. Â What are your thoughts?
