- #20 this year would have come in #9 last year
- Train is in the list for the fifth straight year (#1 for 2012 & 2013)
- Johnny Cash made the list for the third straight year
- Maroon 5 skyrocketed from #16 all the way to #1 with a ton more plays
- The #1 artist last year Billy Joel (117 plays) would only have come in #3 this year
- Keith Urban gets his highest finish ever
- Chris Stapleton is the highest debuting artist this year as I really started listening to the Traveler album
- Billy Joel, last year’s #1 artist dropped 4 spots to #5 – he continues to be the #3 all-time
- P!nk also dropped 4 spots this year – she remains my #1 all-time
- Zac Brown Band always a top artist for me, also slipped 4 spots this year
- Roger Miller (my #2 all-time) climbed two spots this time around
- Rod Stewart climbed 7 spots
- Bob Seger made it into the chart for the first time since 2013 I found some old MP3s of his greatest hits albums
- George Strait hasn’t been in the list since 2014 when he was #8 with 50 plays
- Tim McGraw although always on my playlists made it into the Top 20 for the first time

- 9 of the Top 20 were not in last year’s Top 20 and NONE of them are new artist
- Half (10) of the chart is made up of Country artists – same as last year. In addition, 3 of the top 4 are Country
