Shadow of Truth is a Disturbing Must-Watch

After the runaway success of Making a Murderer, Netflix has another binge watching smash.  This one is quite creepy though.  Shadow of Truth tells the story of a murdered 13-year-old, (Tair Rada – pictured above) in the Golan Heights settlement of Israel. The four-part mini-series is available now on Netflix.

Some folks can’t do subtitles and if that is you – be warned, it is almost all in Hebrew and you will have to read.  This is not a mini-series you run in the background while doing something else.

A Ukrainian immigrant, Roman Zadorov, a repair contractor at the school was quickly charged with the murder after his seemingly forced confession.  What follows is a story of many different threads pointing to his innocence, child killers, cover ups and ritualistic murder.

I won’t spoil it for you by giving you any of the details, but I will let you know that if this is your cup of tea – you’ll love it.  If  you are easily creeped out by bad people and the depths of their potential depravity, you will want to stay away.

As you can see from my rating, it didn’t bother me that much.
