Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones by James Clear on the surface appeared to be another rah-rah, you-can-do-it guide to being more productive. While there is some of that in the book, Clear breaks down the building of habits to it’s core “ie. atomic level.”

Rather than the old tropes of “it takes 14 days to make a habit” etc., Atomic Habits delves into the brain science of how to build and strengthen the neurons that make up all our habits. In addition, Clear makes it clear (see what I did there?) how to go about building the habits that are important to you.

It is a good read and one to have on the shelf of anyone wanting to become better at anything.
